Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton softball team is set to get its season under way on Monday, March 9 under Roos Head Coach
Kelsy Waite. The Roos 2026 roster couples five returners with 11 newcomers.

The team is scheduled to open 2026 on Monday with a pair of games against Martin Luther and Penn State Mont Alto at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. The Roos are scheduled for eight games in sunny Myrtle Beach during their spring break week. Following spring break, the team visits Houghton for a doubleheader (3/26) before opening SUNYAC play at Oswego (4/3). The Roos 2026 roster features 16 players with five returners coupled with 11 newcomers.
Emily Hobart,
Rylynn Martin-McIntyre and
Jordyn Tarbox combined for 12 hits last season scoring six runs.
Ace Rogers also provided five hits and her and Tarbox drove in three runs each, while Hobart registered a pair of RBI.
Hailey King also had a hit last season.

Ace Rogers returns on the mound after tossing 126 innings a season ago with 21 complete games. Â
