The softball field has seen multiple improvements over the years thanks to local sponsorship, the support of New York State, and the hard work of our own student body at SUNY Canton.
New dugouts in 2015, as well as our outfield-wide windscreen were made possible by generous grants from the state as well as private donations. The scoreboard, donated by Pepsi Cola Bottlers in Ogdensburg, enhances fan as well as player experience. As recently as 2017, the Roos Softball Field became home to a new press box fully constructed by students in our construction management program here on campus.
