2025 Season (Jefferson CC)

• Started 12 of the 18 games she appeared in on the mound posting an 8-6 record
• Tossed 71.2 innings with 31 strikeouts and 40 walks registering a 4.30 ERA
• At the plate recorded three hits and five runs driving in three runs in 10 at-bats
• Earned All-Conference honors, First Team All-Region and All-American Academic All-Star 

2024 Season (Corning CC)

• Started six of the 15 appearances she made on the mound posting a 5-5 record with three complete games.
• Tossed 56.2 innings with 29 strikeouts and 50 walks
• At the plate recorded one hit, one run and one RBI in three at-bats
• Earned First Team All-Region and Second Team All-American as well as Academic All-Star 

High School/Previous Team

• Sydney attended Hammond Central High School where she played varsity softball for five years
• Named First Team All-Northern five times, Times All-Northern her sophomore season, and was a member of the All-State team her final three years  
• Named Defensive MVP four times and offensive MVP her senior season as well as Scholar-Athlete all four years of high school
• Her softball team won the 2021 Section X Championship
• Played travel softball for Thunder Select for 10 years

Who is Your Favorite SUNY Canton Professor and Why? Dr. Higman stands out the most to me because she helped me so much last semester in finding graduate schools to apply to and to get me through the next step in my life
What do you like most about your sports team/coach at SUNY Canton? I love that we are so close to one another, pick each other up, and are each other's #1 supporters. I love that Coach Waite allows us to have a good time and joke around at practice, while also locking in, getting the work done, and being fully invested in our individual success so we can work cohesively as a team.
