Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton men's hockey team has earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Commissioner's Cup and will take on the No. 2 seed Anna Maria College in the second semifinal on Friday at 8 p.m. at the Olympia Ice Center in West Springfield, MA.
No. 1 seed Albertus Magnus will square off with No. 4 seed Rivier University in the first semifinal on Friday at 5 p.m. The winners will play for the championship on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
The Roos are coming off an impressive weekend that saw them defeat Rivier by scores of 4-1 and 7-4. SUNY Canton and Anna Maria split a pair of regular season games in Massachusetts with the Roos
winning the opener 4-2 and the
Amcats taking the second contest 1-0.
