Syracuse, NY – Niko Schoner,
Scott Cremen and
Spencer Sasenbury all earned end-of-year accolades from the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) as Schoner and Cremen were named Second Team All-Conference, while Sasenbury earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team.
Schoner ranks 10th in the SUNYAC with 24 points on nine goals and 15 assists with a +7 on-ice rating. His 15 assists tie him for eighth in the league, while he registered a point in 17 of the 25 games he appeared in this season. Schoner was named the SUNYAC Athlete of the Week on November 3.
Cremen ranked sixth on the team and first among defensemen with 18 points on two goals and a team-leading 16 assists. He had a point in 15 different games, and his 16 assists tied him for sixth in the SUNYAC. Thirteen of his 16 assists came within league play which tied him for third in the conference.
Sasenbury ranked second on the team with 22 points on eight goals and 14 assists as a rookie posting a +4 on-ice rating. The freshman had five multi-point outings this season, four of which came in league play. His 22 points overall is tied for 14th in the league, while his 18 points in SUNYAC play ranked eighth in the league. Sasenbury was named the SUNYAC Rookie of the Week on November 10.
