Canton, NY – Head Coach
Cam Talcott and the SUNY Canton men's lacrosse team have announced their 2026 schedule, which marks the team's second season in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC).
The Roos current schedule features 12 total contests with six home games and seven conference contests.
SUNY Canton opens the regular season with a non-conference home game against Castleton on February 25 before hosting SUNY Poly on March 7. The Roos hit the road for back-to-back road contests at Alfred (3/18) and Hilbert (3/21).
The team opens SUNYAC play on March 28 at Cortland before a pair of league games at home against New Paltz (4/3) and Morrisville (4/7).
After a road tilt at Oswego (4/11), the Roos take a quick break from league play to visit Cobleskill (4/15). Two of the team's final three contests are at home against Plattsburgh (4/18) and Potsdam (4/22), with the Roos wrapping up the regular season at Oneonta on April 25.
The top four teams in the conference qualify for the SUNYAC Tournament. SUNYAC semifinals are scheduled for April 29 with the SUNYAC championship three days later (5/2). The semifinals are hosted by the top two seeds, while the championship is hosted by the highest remaining seed.
