Waterville, ME – Junior Alex Jacobs and sophomore Hayden Todd have been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Lacrosse Player and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, while senior Olivia Scott was tabbed the NAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.

Jacobs led all players with seven goals as the Roos opened NAC play with a 19-15 win at Husson on Saturday. Nine of his 12 shots were on target and seven of the nine on goal found the back of the net. Jacobs scored six of the team's first 16 goals to give Canton a 16-9 lead as they cruised to the crucial conference road victory.
 

Todd stopped 12 of the 23 shots he faced (.522 save %) to lead the Roos to a 19-15 road win at Husson to open NAC play on Saturday. The sophomore left the game with 7:21 remaining in the fourth quarter with Canton owning a convincing 18-11 advantage. Todd also picked up two ground balls. This is the second week Todd has been named the league's defensive player of the week as he also earned the honor on March 18th.
