Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton men's and women's cross country teams open the season on Saturday at the Colby-Sawyer Charger Invitational. The 2025 season marks the Roos second season in the SUNYAC.
 
The Roos kick off the season this weekend in New Hampshire and next weekend in Vermont. The teams will then race locally at St. Lawrence on September 20th. This year's SUNYAC Championship will be hosted by Plattsburgh on November 1st. To view the full schedule release, click HERE.
 
The 2025 men's team features nine runners with six returning runners from last season in Wyatt Beers, Justin Bormann, Derick Chavez, Kristian Johnson, Gage Perry, and Matthew Pietryka.
 
The Roos three newcomers feature three freshmen.

The 2025 women's team features eight runners with five returners in Megan Cowles, Summer Foster, Jenna Leshkevich, Sophia McKiernan, and Sydney Pelerin. The Roos welcome three newcomers to the roster in a junior, a sophomore and a freshman.
