Addison Nellis is a senior defender on the men's lacrosse team. This piece is part of a series of Q & A's with senior spring student-athletes who saw their senior seasons cut short due to COVID-19.
 

Q: Why did you choose SUNY Canton?
A: I chose SUNY Canton because it's a small town sort of like my hometown. I wanted to get the best hands-on experience I could to further my academic career, as well as get the chance to further my athletic career by playing for the men's lacrosse team.


Q: Favorite professor and why?
A: I like all of my Sports Management professors because they push me to be better in many different ways whether it's to be a better student or person.
 

Q: Favorite memory involving your sport at Canton?
A: My favorite memory that involves playing for the men's lacrosse team would be when we won the NAC and got a chance to play in a game in order to qualify to get into the NCAA Tournament.
 

Q: Favorite Non-Sports Memory?
A: My favorite non-sport related memory would be just meeting new people and hanging out with them all the time and just having a good time.
 
 
Q: What will you miss most about SUNY Canton?
A: What I will miss most about SUNY Canton is the people I have been able to meet and the experiences in and out of the classroom i have been lucky enough to have been a part of.
 
Q: Degree you will be graduating with?
A: I will be graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management.
 
 
Q: Future career/life plans?
A: After I graduate I would like to have a job in sports broadcasting or sports information at the collegiate level.
