Roos Beaten By Mercyhurst

(Erie, Pa.)- The SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team lost to Mercyhurst College 6-3 Saturday afternoon in Erie, Pa.

Senior Rob Liggio (Canton, N.Y.), junior Chris Giczewski (Fountain Valley, Calif.) and junior John Payne (Port Moody, B.C.) scored for the 11th-ranked Roos (20-2-3). Sophomore Michael Pittman (Amarillo, Texas) recorded 37 saves.

Pat Mayhew scored twice to lead the Lakers.
