Oswego, NY – Kristian Johnson and
Summer Foster led the men's and women's cross country teams at the SUNYAC Championships on Saturday at Fallbrook Recreation Center in Oswego.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Johnson led the Canton men for the sixth time this season covering the eight kilometer course in a time of 29:33 to finish in 48th place out of 96 runners. He averaged 5:57 mile pace in the race.
- Logan Bradley was the next Roo across the line in a time of 32:01 (6:27/mile), while Wilfried Ulrich Feukouo clocked a 33:22 to finish in 89th. Matthew Pietryka and Justin Bormann rounded out the top five for the Roos.
- SUNY Canton finished in ninth place out of 10 teams with 295 points, edging out SUNY Potsdam (304). SUNY Cortland won the team title with 60 points ahead of SUNY Oneonta (71) and Fredonia State (81).
- Oneonta's Jonthomas Bierman won the individual title in a time of 26:46.

- Summer Foster, a dual sport athlete also on the women's soccer team, led the Canton women after completing her soccer season last weekend. She clocked a time of 29:31 to place 66th out of the 85 runner field.
- Jenna Leshkevich (34:56), Megan Cowles (36:19), and Tyler Schwedler and Sophia McKiernan (both 38:16) rounded out the Canton runners.
- Cortland won the team title with 39 points ahead of Oneonta (43) and New Paltz (77).
- Cortland's Melissa Innocent won the individual title in a time of 23:43.

The Roos close out the season on Saturday, November 16th when they race at the NCAA Mideast Regionals at Harkness Memorial Park in Waterford, CT hosted by Connecticut College. The women race at 11 a.m. followed by the men at 12 p.m. Â Â Â Â
