Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton men's and women's cross country teams and Head Coach John Kennedy have released their schedules for the upcoming 2026 season.

The Roos will compete in seven invitationals including a race crosstown at St. Lawrence. The teams open the season on September 5 in Vermont at the VTSU Castleton Invitational. After an off weekend, the team races at St. Lawrence on September 19 at the Hoffman Invitational.

SUNY Canton is back in action the next weekend (9/26) at a new race for the team, the Equality Invitational, hosted by St. Michael's in Burlington, VT. The Roos race at the Word of Life Huskies Invitational in Schroon Lake on October 3. Canton's final tuneup prior to championship season is at the Cross Country Only Conference Championships at Seneca Lake State Park in Geneva on October 17.
   
Oneonta is set to host the 2026 SUNYAC Championship at Fortin Park on Halloween day. The season concludes on November 14 at the NCAA Mideast Regionals which will be hosted by Trinity (CT).
