Geneva, NY – Kristian Johnson and
Jenna Leshkevich led the men's and women's cross country teams for the second consecutive race at the Cross Country Only Conference (CCOC) Championships on Saturday at Seneca Lake State Park in Geneva.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- For the third consecutive race Johnson set a new personal best covering the 8-kilometer course in a time of 28:23 to finish in 11th place out of a field of 48 runners. He shaved four seconds off his time from two weeks ago at Hampshire College.
- Logan Bradley was the second Canton runner across the line placing 27th in a time of 31:54. Wilfried Ulrich Feukouo (32:55) and Matthew Pietryka (33:14) packed closely together in 30th and 31st places, respectively. Justin Bormann rounded out the scoring runners in a time of 35:48.
- The Roos finished fourth out of five teams with a score of 98 defeating Keuka (139). Clarkson won the team title with 20 points ahead of Hobart (50) and Paul Smith's (83).

- Leshkevich led the Canton women in a time of 34:03 to place 28th out of 37 runners. Megan Cowles was just behind Leshkevich in 29th place (34:35).
- Tyler Schwedler (36:05), Sophia McKiernan (36:06) and Sydney Pelerin (38:04) rounded out the Canton contingent.
- The Roos placed fourth out of four teams with 101 points just behind Keuka (95). William Smith (23) edged Clarkson (35) for the team title.
