Szlamczynski Shoots 3-Under, Sets New Program Scoring Record at Clarkson Invitational

Potsdam, NY – Senior captain Adam Szlamczynski fired a round of 3-under par, 69, at the Potsdam Town & Country Club on Tuesday to place second at the Clarkson Invitational.

The round of 3-under is the lowest in relation to par in school history and in at least the last 13 seasons. Josh Marshall '22 and Zach Meade '15 both shot rounds of 2-under par 70. Marshall carded a 2-under 70 on September 14, 2021 at the Roos home invitational at Partridge Run Golf & Country Club. Meade shot 2-under par 70 on October 14, 2014 on the second day of the USCAA National Championship at the Penn State Blue Course on his way to winning the USCAA National Championship. Anthony Marion posted a round of 1-under, 69, at the first round of last year's NAC Championship at Waterville Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Szlamczynski went out in 2-over 38 but came home in 5-under 31 on the back nine. He was just one stroke behind St. Lawrence's Cooper Evans who shot a round of 4-under par, 68.
