Lebanon, PA – Freshman Raine Rumble led the SUNY Canton men's golf team with a round of 8-over par, 80, at the third round of the 2025-26 Empire 8 Fall Men's Golf Championship at Lebanon Country Club on Sunday.

The Roos sit in fifth place out of eight teams after three rounds of the four-round Empire 8 Championship. The first two rounds were contested at Teugega Country Club on October 12 and 13, 2025. The final round will also take place at Lebanon Country Club with tee times beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 20.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Rumble went out in 39 on Sunday coming home in 41. He recorded one birdie, 10 pars, five bogeys and a double. His three-round total of 233 (+21) has him tied for sixth out of the 37 golfers who have competed in all three rounds of the championship. He is just 10 strokes back of the leader Colin Patterson (223, +11) from St. John Fisher.
• Kahontiio Lazore, who led the Roos in third place (+8) after the two rounds in the fall, carded an 88 (45-43) on Sunday and is tied for 10th overall at 236. He had five pars, 11 bogeys, a double and a triple.
• Anthony Marion sits tied for 17th (240) after registering an 84 (41-43) on Sunday with nine pars, seven bogeys, a double and triple. Sam Eells rounds out the scoring Roos with a three-round total of 247 (T-25) after shooting 82 (38-44) on Sunday. He finished with two birdies, eight pars, five bogeys, two doubles and a triple.
• Mason Dumas shot an 88 on Sunday and has a three-round total of 258 (32nd), while Tyler Martin carded a 93 on Sunday and has a total of 268 strokes (33rd).
• The Roos sit in fifth place in the team standings with 949 strokes, just four strokes behind fourth place Oswego and one stroke ahead of sixth place Utica. St. John Fisher leads the team event with 922 strokes, while Sage is second (926) and Nazareth is third (940).
