Gwendolyn Glennon both finished in first place with scores of 78 and 88, respectively, on Wednesday at the Keuka College Spring Invitational at Lakeside Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED - MEN
- Marion bested the field of 47 golfers earning medalist honors by a single stroke with his round of 78. Teammate Adam Szlamczynski was just a stroke back with a 7-over 79 tying for second place with Keuka's Ryan Sisco and Medaille's Cameron Cswaykus.
- John McCall posted a round of 93 to tie for 21st place, while Tyler Bedell finished with a 96 (T-26). Cayden Cady (T-35) rounded out the Roo golfers with a 102.
- SUNY Canton finished in second place out of the eight-team field with 346 strokes trailing only Medaille (329). Utica (349), Keuka (351) and Nazareth (356) rounded out the top five teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED - WOMEN
- Glennon tied for first with a round of 16 over par, 88, with Utica's Carly Stefanini. Stefanini would claim medalist honors as she had a lower score on the toughest handicap hole.
- Glennon had an outstanding start to her spring season besting 19 other golfers in the field.
- Olivia Drino placed 17th for the Roos finishing with a score of 124 as Glennon and Drino competed as individuals on Wednesday.
- Utica won the women's team title with 390 strokes edging SUNY Geneseo (397). Keuka finished in third place (478) of the three-team field.

WHAT'S NEXT
The men's golf team has a quick turnaround as they take part in the SUNY Delhi Invitational on Thursday at 1 PM. The women return to the links on Saturday when they tee off at 11 AM in the first round of the two-day, 36-hole Martin/Wallace Invitational at Cortland.
