Syracuse, NY – After a strong performance on Saturday, sophomore
Kenadie Garrow has been named the SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week.
Garrow recorded a goal, team-high five ground balls and game-high three caused turnovers as the Roos earned a 9-7 road win at Alfred State on Saturday. Her score with 25 seconds left in the first half helped give Canton a 7-4 halftime lead as they outscored the Pioneers 4-1 in a key second quarter. The five ground balls and three caused turnovers were both career-highs for the sophomore.

The Roos are back in action on Wednesday (3/4) when they hit the road for a non-conference game at SUNY Poly at 4 p.m.
