Canton, NY – Logan Kelly, a freshman on the men's hockey team, and Natalie Bartle, a senior on the women's basketball team, have been named this week's Roos of the Week.

Kelly recorded a team-high five points on three goals and two assists recording a +2 on-ice rating in a 1-1 weekend for the Roos. He finished with a game-high four points on two goals and two assists in a 9-1 win against Morrisville on Friday. Kelly scored the team's first and seventh goals while recording the primary assist on their third and fifth tallies. The freshman then scored Canton's lone goal to get the team within 2-1 at 15:45 of the third period in an eventual 2-1 loss at No. 14 nationally-ranked Cortland on Saturday. With results around the league this weekend the Roos clinched their first SUNYAC playoff berth in their first year in the conference. Kelly now leads the Roos with four power play goals.

Bartle stuffed the stat sheet averaging 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 4.5 steals per game leading the Roos to a 2-0 week in SUNYAC play as the Roos clinched a playoff berth in their first season in the conference. She opened the weekend with game-highs of 19 points, five assists and five steals to go with seven rebounds and a block in a 61-40 win against Potsdam on Friday. Bartle closed out the weekend with 16 points, game-highs of four assists and four steals to go with four rebounds in a 58-46 win against Plattsburgh on Saturday.
