Canton, NY – Kahontiio Lazore and
Gwendolyn Glennon led the SUNY Canton men's and women's golf teams at their home invitational at Partridge Run Golf & Country Club on Thursday.

HOW IT HAPPENED - MEN
- Lazore paced the Canton men with a round of five-over par, 77, to finish in a tie for fourth place out of 38 golfers. He went out in 38 and came home in 39 posting three birdies on the round (holes 3, 11 and 18).
- John McCall went out in 41 and came home in 37 to tie for seventh place posting birdies on the 12th and 18th holes. Brody Fuhrey birdied the third and eighth holes going out in 38 and coming home in 45 for an 83 to place 20th. Kyle Murphy had back-to-back birds on 12 and 13 on his way to an 85 to tie for 23rd.
- The Roos 'A' team finished in fifth place out of six teams with 323 strokes, while the 'B' team was sixth with 379 strokes. Clarkson's 'A' team finished first with a 301 ahead of second place Utica (313) and third place St. Lawrence (315).
- Clarkson's Eric Spoth had an incredible round of 5-under par, 67, including a hole-in-one on the par three eighth hole to earn medalist honors.

HOW IT HAPPENED - WOMEN
- Glennon led the Canton women with a round of 18-over par, 90, to place in a tie for fourth out of 11 golfers. She went out in 44 and came home in 46 recording six pars.
- Raven Murphy set a new career low round with a 107 (48-59) to finish in 10th place, while Maddy Thompson tallied a 112 (55-57).
- The Roos competed with three individuals. St. Lawrence won the team title with 352 strokes ahead of second place Utica (392). SLU's Mary Grace McCann won medalist honors with a round of 3-over par, 75.
