Penn Yan, NY – Gwendolyn Glennon recorded a round of 13-over par, 85, on Tuesday to earn medalist honors at the Keuka College Spring Invitational at Lakeside Country Club.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Glennon bested the field of 27 golfers by four strokes edging SUNY Geneseo's Jillian Draper (89) for medalist honors. The round of 85 was Glennon's second lowest collegiate round for 18 holes behind her final round of 81 at St. Lawrence as a freshman. She also shot an 85 last season in the first round of the Nazareth Invitational. Her score of 85 was her lowest of the 2023-24 season.
• Maddy Thompson finished in a tie for 13th carding a 108, while Raven Murphy was 23rd with a 127. Olivia Drino rounded out the Roo golfers on Tuesday with a score of 138.
• SUNY Canton finished in fifth place out of the five teams with a 458 just behind Nazareth (437). SUNY Geneseo won the team title with a score of 399, while Keuka (421) and SUNY Cobleskill (430) rounded out the top three team scores.

The Roos are scheduled to tee it up again this weekend at the Martin/Wallace Invitational at Cortland Country Club on Saturday and Sunday.
