Rexford, NY – Gwendolyn Glennon led the SUNY Canton women's golf team at the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Invitational at Mohawk River Country Club on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Glennon carded a round of 92 at the par 70 course at Mohawk River CC to finish in a tie for 11th place out of 45 golfers. Glennon went out in 48 before coming home in 44.
- Raven Murphy posted a 115 to place 39th. Murphy went out in 61 but improved by seven strokes shooting 54 on the back nine.
- The Roos competed as individuals as four player scores are required for a team score.
- Suffolk's Krisna Mahendran won medalist honors with an 80 edging out three others who shot 81's.
- SUNY Cortland won the team title with 339 strokes ahead of Suffolk (345) and Utica (376)
