Rexford, NY – Gwendolyn Glennon led the SUNY Canton women's golf team at the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Invitational at Mohawk River Country Club on Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Glennon carded a round of 92 at the par 70 course at Mohawk River CC to finish in a tie for 11th place out of 45 golfers. Glennon went out in 48 before coming home in 44.
• Raven Murphy posted a 115 to place 39th. Murphy went out in 61 but improved by seven strokes shooting 54 on the back nine.
• The Roos competed as individuals as four player scores are required for a team score.
• Suffolk's Krisna Mahendran won medalist honors with an 80 edging out three others who shot 81's.
• SUNY Cortland won the team title with 339 strokes ahead of Suffolk (345) and Utica (376)

The Roos close out the fall portion of their schedule on Monday when they tee it up in the Nazareth Fall Invitational at Irondequoit Country Club at 10 a.m.
