Rexford, NY – Gwendolyn Glennon is tied for 15th after carding a round of 92 at the opening round of the Northeast Women's Golf Conference Championship on Saturday at The Edison Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Glennon sits tied for 15th out of the 54 golfer field and 14 strokes off the lead after the first day of the two-day, 36-hole tournament. She went out in 49 and came home in 43 on Saturday recording four pars and 10 bogeys on her round.
- Raven Murphy (T-46th) finished with a round of 127 going out in 67 and coming home in 60. Olivia Drino (51st) posted a round of 138 (67-71) to conclude the Canton competitors. The Roos are competing as individuals as they are one player short of the required four for a team score.
- St. John Fisher's Alex Tomasso and Suffolk's Ellie Yarbrough lead the field individually with first round 78's.
- Suffolk is in first place after Saturday's round with a team score of 333. SUNY Cortland is just four strokes back at 337.

WHAT'S NEXT
The teams will tee it up again on Sunday for the final round of the NWGC Championship. Tee times begin for the day at 12 p.m. with the SUNY Canton groups going out shortly after 2 p.m.
