Rome, NY – Gwendolyn Glennon led the SUNY Canton women's golf team improving by 12 strokes in the final round to shoot a two-day total of 180 at the Hamilton College Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Rome Country Club.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After shooting a 96 on Saturday, Glennon bounced back with a round of 84 on Sunday to tie for 61st place out of 80 golfers.
- On Saturday she went out in 44 coming home in 52 finishing the day with five pars. Sunday saw Glennon go out in 44 and come home in 40 as she totaled nine pars on the round including six on the back nine.
- Maddy Thompson posted a 106 on Saturday and a 116 on Sunday for a two-day total of 22 placing 76th. She recorded a par each day.
