Lance Bradley paced the SUNY Canton women's and men's cross country teams at the Founding Tree Invitational on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

- Snow covered the 6-kilometer course in a time of 26:20 to finish in sixth place out of 75 runners. Summer Foster (29:44) and Isabella Paswaters (30:07) packed well to finish in 25th and 26th places, respectively.
- Megan Cowles (41st – 33:08) and Madison Ruby (60th – 39:44) rounded out the Canton contingent of runners.
- The Roos placed fifth out of 10 teams with 137 points. Western New England won the team title with 46 points ahead of second place Paul Smith's (60) and third place Bard (88).

- Lance Bradley recorded a 19th place showing out of 104 runners covering the 8 kilometer course in 30:48. Matthew Pietryka (37th – 32:30) and Brogan LaRose (40th – 32:43) were just 13 seconds apart finishing in second and third for the team.
- Gage Perry also posted a top 50 finish (46th – 33:31), while Daniel Ryhal was the final Canton scorer in 68th (35:28).
- The men finished in sixth place out of 10 teams with 167 points. Western New England won the team title with 37 points ahead of second place Paul Smith's (61) and third place Bard (81). Â

The Roos return to the trails on Saturday, October 14th at the Cross Country Only Championships hosted by Hobart and William Smith.
