Randolph Center, VT – Lydia Snow and
Brogan LaRose paced the SUNY Canton women's and men's cross country teams for the second consecutive week with Snow finishing in the top 30 of a field that featured a nationally-ranked team.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Snow covered the 5-kilometer course in 23:22 to finish in 29th place out of 80 runners. Megan Cowles crossed the line in 29:07 (56th), while Lailah Emad, Mary Townson and Hal Smith all competed for the Roos.
- No. 17 nationally-ranked Middlebury College won the team title with 19 points, while St. Michael's College (59) and Fitchburg State (84) rounded out the top three. The Roos finished in 10th place out of the 11-team field with 238 points defeating Dean College (282).

- LaRose led the men's team with a 51st place showing out of 119 competing runners. He finished the race in a time of 34:55. Ryan Duester was just less than two minutes behind (36:46) in 59th place.
- Daniel Ryhal (38:47), Kyle Stelter (39:09) and Tyler Fuentes (39:12) finished in consecutive places (73rd-75th) to round out the top five.
- No. 15 nationally-ranked Middlebury won the team title with a perfect 15 points ahead of St. Michael's (59) and Fitchburg State. The Roos earned a seventh place showing out of 11 teams with 227 points defeating Vermont Tech (244), NVU-Lyndon (247), Dean (272) and Clinton Community College (275).

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Roos return to the trails next Saturday, September 17th, when they host the SUNY Canton Kangaroo Invitational. The men take off at 11 a.m. followed by the women at 12 p.m. Â Â
