Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton men's hockey team will have a change in jerseys for its final home game of the season on Friday night when it hosts the Oswego State Lakers at 7 p.m. in the Roos House.
All members of the Roos will wear Military Appreciation Jerseys featuring the colors of blue, gold and white (see above) to recognize all those who have served, currently serve, and will serve . Four organizations will have tables and be present at the game including:
- Clarkson Army ROTC
- Clarkson Air Force ROTC
- VFW (Canton)
- SUNY Canton Veterans Association
The ROTC units will be conducting a joint color guard. Mr. Tom Coakley (Vietnam Veteran & SUNY Canton Foundation member) will be dropping the ceremonial opening puck.
The Roos four seniors:
Joe Casale (Niagara Falls, NY),
Louie Puig (Chicago, IL),
George Curry (Schaumburg, IL) and
