Canton, NY – Emerson Coulter, a sophomore on the women's volleyball team, and Anthony Marion, a senior on the men's golf team, have been named this week's Roos of the Week.

Coulter averaged 3.18 kills, 4.00 digs and 0.53 aces per set hitting .195 (54-21-169) leading the Roos to a 3-2 record in a busy five match week. She opened the week with six kills hitting .556 (6-1-9) to go with three digs in a sweep against Paul Smith's on Wednesday. The sophomore followed that up with a double-double of 17 kills and 11 digs and a pair of blocks in a 3-1 win against Utica on Friday. Coulter added 12 kills and a team-high 21 digs in a 3-1 loss to Pitt Bradford (10-1) on Friday. She added four kills, five digs and two aces in a four set loss to Brockport on Saturday before closing out the week with 15 kills, 28 digs and five aces in a five set win against Keuka. Overall, she was responsible for 64.5 points on the week (3.8/set).

Marion recorded a second-place finish to lead the Roos to a win at the SUNY Canton Invitational on Thursday. Individually he finished runner-up out of 47 golfers as he shot 72 (E) and was just one shot back of the medalist. The senior captain recorded a team-best seven birdies on his round. The Roos won the team event out of the eight team field with 299 strokes, just two strokes off their D-III era program record.
