Canton, NY – Maddy Caron led all players with seven goals and 12 draw controls as the SUNY Canton women's lacrosse team used a balanced attack to cruise past Keuka College 15-3 on Monday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos scored the first six goals of the game as Caron found the back of the net three times and Caroline Nappi, Lindsey Wunder and Morgan Montgomery caged one goal each.
- Keuka got on the board with just 16 seconds left in the first quarter as Canton led 6-1 after 15 minutes of action.
- The Roos continued to dominate play in the second stanza outscoring the Wolves 6-0. Caron scored three more goals with Nappi, Samantha Dayter and Aayliah White chipping in one each as the hosts led 12-1 at intermission.
- Canton scored the only three goals of the third quarter off the sticks of Dayter, Caron and White running their consecutive goal streak to nine. The Roos led 15-1 after three quarters of action before Keuka added a pair of late fourth quarter goals.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Caron led all players with seven goals and 12 draw controls, while Dayter dished out a game-high four assists to go with two goals. Nappi tallied two goals and two assists, while Wunder finished with a goal and three assists. White recorded a pair of goals and picked up a game-high five ground balls, while Montgomery had the other Canton goal.
- Grace Morse led Keuka with a goal and assist.
- Olivia Scott made two saves allowing one goal in the first half to earn the win, while Erin Anderson recorded four saves surrendering two scores in the second half.
- Lauren Vitello made eight saves in the loss for the Wolves.
- The Roos had the upper hand in shots on goal (23-9), draw controls (16-5) and ground balls (20-14). Canton went 12-for-15 on clears while Keuka was 11-for-22.
