2024 Season
- Started all 14 games she appeared in recording a team-best 108 points and 50 assists to go with 58 goals, 70 draw controls, 21 caused turnovers and 20 ground balls
- Named NAC Co-Player of the Year & First Team All-Conference
- Named to the NAC Winter/Spring 2023-24 All-Academic Team
- Named the SUNY Canton Athletic department’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year
- Named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District
- Named to IWLCA Honor Roll
- Named to IWLCA Senior All-Star game
- Named NAC Player of the Week three times (4/8, 4/22, 4/29)
- Set new program records for career points (400), goals (221), assists (179) and draw controls (301)
2023 Season
- Started all 17 games she appeared in totaling a career and program best 133 points with 73 goals and 60 assists
- Added 24 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers to go with 96 draw controls
- Named NAC Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference for third consecutive year
- Named NAC Player of the Week (4/17, 4/24, 5/1) and Defensive Player of the Week (3/20)
- Named NAC Tournament Most Valuable Player
- Earned SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence
- Named to IWLCA All Academic squad
- Named the SUNY Canton Athletic department’s Co-Female Student-Athlete of the Year
- NAC Spring 2023 All-Academic Team
- Nominated for the NAC Woman of the Year Award
- Set single-game records in points (16) and assists (10), while tying the single-game goals (9) record.

- Started all 5 contests she appeared in leading the team in points (16) and tying for the team lead in assists (5)
- Tallied 11 goals, 11 ground balls, 7 draw controls and four caused turnovers
- Named NAC Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference
- Named NAC Player of the Week (4/12/21)
- Named to the NAC Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 All-Academic Teams
2020 Season
- Started all 3 contests she appeared in during a season cut short due to COVID-19
- Led the team in points (16) goals (9), assists (7), draw controls (15) and caused turnovers (6).
- Named the NAC Player & Defensive Player of the Week (3/9/20)
Previous School (SUNY Poly)
- Sam played one year of basketball and one year of lacrosse at SUNY Poly prior to transferring to SUNY Canton
Basketball
- Led the team to the NEAC championship and an NCAA Tournament berth during the 2018-19 season
- Started all 16 games she appeared in averaging 5.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game
Lacrosse
- Named NEAC Rookie of the Year in 2019
- Posted 89 points on 66 goals and 23 assists
- Finished her rookie season with 123 draw controls, 83 ground balls and 30 caused turnovers
- Had four or more points in 15 of the 19 games she appeared in

- Sam was a four-sport athlete at Cohoes competing in five years of lacrosse and soccer, four years of basketball and two years of indoor track and field
- Named first Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Section in basketball
- Earned first Team All-Conference, First Team All-Section, Fourth Team All-State and the 2017 New York State Goalie of the Year in soccer
- Named First Team All-Conference and set the New York State cord for goals in a game with 17 in lacrosse

Why Did You Chose SUNY Canton:Â I loved both the lacrosse and basketball girls, and looked forward to continuing my education.
What Do You Like Most About SUNY Canton:Â I love my teammates and how both teams feel like families.
Who is Your Favorite SUNY Canton Professor and Why? Professor Rivers. He is so willing to help and has gone out of his way to ensure I got the grade I wanted and helped me to do well on my exams whether they were with him or for other classes.
What do you like most about your sports team/coach at SUNY Canton:Â I love the way we both feel like family. I have 40+ family members who I get to rely on and I know would always be willing to help me.
