Saranac Lake, NY – Sophomore Adam Szlamcynski and the SUNY Canton men's golf team both won the Paul Smith's Invitational as the Star Lake native and the Roos took home top honors on Saturday at Saranac Inn Golf and Country Club.
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Szlamcynski carded a round of 2-over par, 74, to edge out St. Lawrence's Cooper Evans for medalist honors. Brendan Kanoza finished in third place posting a score of 81.
• Gavin Neuland tied for sixth with an 83, while Josh Marshall finished with an 86. Jake Hess rounded out the Canton contingent at Saranac Lake with an 87.
• The Roos recorded a team score of 324 to defeat second place St. Lawrence by 11 strokes. Host Paul Smith's finished third with a 361.

   

WHAT'S NEXT
The Roos close out the fall portion of their schedule at the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship on October 9th and 10th at The College Golf Course at SUNY Delhi. Tee times are set for both days at 10:30 a.m.
