Buffalo, NY – Jesse Farabee tallied his team-leading ninth goal of the season to lead the Roos to a 1-1 OT tie v. Buffalo State on Saturday evening. The tie extends the Roos unbeaten streak to six games (5-0-1).

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Vadim Vasjokin gave the Bengals the early lead at 8:03 of the second period after a scoreless 20 minutes.
  • Farabee tallied the game-tying goal with 3:51 remaining in regulation. Matthew Headland and Kyler Matthews earned helpers on the play.
  • Michael Cerasuolo made six saves in OT to preserve the 1-1 OT tie.
  • Canton went 1-for-6 on the power play while killing off all seven of their penalties.
  • Cerasuolo made 46 saves on the night, while Connor Minch made 19 stops for the Bengals.
  • The 46 saves were one short of Cerasuolo's career-high 47 which he recorded in a 6-4 win at No. 3 nationally-ranked Adrian on December 30, 2018.
