• Roger played three years of hockey at Pittsford Sutherland. His team was 2011-2012 Section V Champions and New York State Finalists
• He went on to play for the New England Wolves of the EHL.

What is a Little Known Fact About Yourself? I live ont he same street as my grandparents, aunts/uncles, and cousins, all within a mile.
I tore my ACL going into my second year of junior hockey. The surgeon told me it would be eight months before I was back and playing full speed again. I ended up sitting out the whole season, but after vigorous training and rehab, I was cleared after just five months. Following that, I had a great comeback season and was given a great offer by SUNY Canton to play for their great hockey program and start up my schooling again. 
Who is Your Personal Hero/Idol and Why? My grandfather. He's my relative, my boss, and my mentor. He's a great guy to hang around, work for and with, and is an exceptional person to learn from, whether it's skills that will help you with other jobs or every day projects, or just plain life lessons. He is the hardest working man on the planet and has probably put in three times the amount of work in hours than the normal worker does in a lifetime. I couldn't have asked for a better person to have in my life to teach me everything that I have learned. He has taught me to be my own person and that you can't let other people change what you believe in.

Why Did You Chose SUNY Canton: I chose SUNY Canton because they had a lot of different academic opportunities for me to consider as well as having a great hockey program.
What Do You Like Most About SUNY Canton: I like the small community. You get to know people very quickly and you tend to be more of a big fish in a small pond rather than the opposite. It is easier to make your presence more known to your peers. 
Who is Your Favorite SUNY Canton Professor and Why? I like all of my professors. They come in every day and preach to us students about being professional in the classroom and practicing good habits so that all those qualities follow you right into the workforce.
What do you like most about your sports team/coach at SUNY Canton: I love the philosophy that my coaches have about the hockey program. They not only are trying to develop us as better hockey players, but to develop us as exceptional and responsible young men to represent CAnton hockey and the institution with pride.
