Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton men's and women's basketball teams will host their annual event with this year's edition of Moonlight Madness Halloween Havoc on October 31st at 8 p.m. in the Roos House.

This gives Roos hoops fans their first chance to see the Roos basketball teams in action. The teams encourage fans to wear their costumes to the event where candy and other prizes will be given out.

"We are excited to give folks their first look at our team before we open up play for the 2018-19 regular season," Head Women's Basketball Coach
Josh Ward said. "Our women have been working hard in practice and we are looking forward to getting the campus and local community involved as we begin a new era of Roos Hoops in the North Atlantic Conference!"
The night will include player introductions, and three-point and NBA skills contests with both teams as well as a scrimmage with the men's team and the fan-favorite dunk contest.

Ben Thompson said. "The chance to play for a conference championship in the NAC and earn a NCAA Tournament berth offers a tremendous opportunity for our student-athletes. We look forward to seeing everyone in their costumes on Halloween night as we will be throwing out candy and T-shirts!"
