Alfred, NY – The Roos overpowered Mills College (Calif.) for a win on Saturday in the American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) semifinal.
The tournament is hosted by Alfred State. With the win the Roos advance to the championship match on Sunday at 11 a.m. where they will face the host, Alfred State.
Canton held Mills to 34 total points over three sets holding the lead throughout the majority of the match.
Shea Norton paced the Roos with eight kills, while
Camrym Smeatin,
Jordan Dormady, and
Marissa Ixtlahuac each added five kills, respectively.
Peyton Robinson finished the match with 25 assists while
Jenna Roat led defensively with 12 digs.
