Lenihan stopped 41 of the 42 shots she faced (.976 save %) in a 2-1 win against top five nationally-ranked SUNY Cortland on Friday in her lone game of the week. She stopped at least 12 shots in every period including a remarkable 16 in the third period to preserve a 2-1 win against the Red Dragons. It’s the second ranked win for the Roos this season and the second time Lenihan has earned a win against nationally-ranked Cortland in the last two seasons.
