Ardoin scored both SUNY Canton goals in the team’s contest against Franklin Pierce University on Friday. Forty-seven seconds into the final frame, two seconds after the Roo power play ended, she redirected a shot from the point by Abbey Diabo (Kahnawake, QUE) for her first score.
With nine seconds left in the contest Ardoin added her second of the game and fourth of the season. McKayla Duffy (Bloomingdale, NY) skated behind the net right to left and found Ardoin in the slot who put the puck just inside the left post. The women’s ice hockey team is back in action on January 2, 2015 when they take on UMass Boston in the Codfish Bowl.
