Oswego, NY – In a game that began under light snow and ended in the rain, the Canton Kangaroos couldn't overcome a hot start by the potent Oswego Laker offense, as they fell by a score of 15-4.
Maddy Caron continued to set the Roos scoring pace, with three goals on the afternoon, while
Olivia Scott added nine saves in the defeat.
Olivia McCormick added a goal unassisted as
Ava Dupee picked up a point, assisting on Caron's first tally.
After outscoring SUNY Canton 7-1 in the first quarter, Oswego seized control of the game at the halftime break, carrying an 11-2 lead into the intermission. The elements played a role in the game, as both teams struggled with dropped passes and a slippery surface. As the snow changed to rain in the second half, Oswego took advantage of the running clock and slowed the pace of the game down, outscoring the Roos 4-1 for the 15-4 final.

- Oswego scored two goals coming out of the halftime break a minute apart as they tallied at the 3:34 mark and again at 4:32 to make it a 13-3 game.
