Buffalo, NY – Five different players scored in double figures as the SUNY Canton women's basketball team doubled up host Buffalo State 84-42 in SUNYAC action on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos outscored Buffalo State 14-6 in the opening quarter.
- Leading 28-15 midway through the second stanza, Canton held the Bengals scoreless the final 5:19 of the half using an 11-0 run to take a 39-15 advantage into intermission.
- Sierra Pabo led the Roos with 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting, while Natalie Bartle had nine points and Torie Moore had eight. Adiya Jones paced the Bengals with six steals.
- The Roos dominated play 29-9 in the third quarter to take a 68-24 lead into the fourth quarter.
- Canton cruised in the final quarter to a convincing conference win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Bartle led all players with 15 points, five assists and four steals, while Pabo tallied 13 points and six rebounds on 6-for-8 shooting. Hope Aniceto chipped in 12 points hitting four of her seven threes, while Moore and Kat McRobbie-Taru supplied 10 points and six rebounds each. Moore chipped in four assists.
- KD Douglas paced the Bengals with nine points.
- The Roos shot 46% from the field, 43% from three and 88% from the line, while Buffalo State posted marks of 31%, 29% and 46%, respectively.
- Canton controlled rebounds (42-29), points off turnovers (34-2), points in the paint (40-12), fast break points (18-2) and second chance points (16-4). The Roos turned the ball over just 10 times while forcing the Bengals to cough the ball up 25 times.
