High School/Previous Team 
  • Kat attended Cicero-North Syracuse High School and played varsity basketball for four years and varsity tennis for two years. 
  • She achieved First Team All-Section for two years in a row, First Team All-Tournament two years in a row, CNS Athlete of the Week, and was selected to be highlighted for “Friday Night Fever”
  • Named Eighth Team All-State, and was in the running for CNY MVP for girls basketball. Her team also earned sectional and regional champions in 2022. They were sectional finals qualifiers two years in a row. 
  • Kathleen played for Syracuse Nets, Sisterskeepers NYC, and I-90 Elite. She was selected Player of the game four times for Sisterskeepers NYC.

Career Ambition: I want to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.  
What is a Little-Known Fact About Yourself? I am a good cook. 
Who is Your Personal Hero/Idol and Why? My personal hero is my mom, she is a prime example of strength and perseverance as a cancer survivor and single mom

Why Did You Chose SUNY Canton: The coach and excellent team culture drew me to Canton. They have what I need to later achieve my doctorate. I can proudly say that I have a great academic and athletic support system. 
What Do You Like Most About SUNY Canton: The supportive team and realistic settings for PTA and Nursing majors. They also have a nice dining hall and suites.
Who is Your Favorite SUNY Canton Professor and Why? My favorite Professor is Dr. Molnar because she contacted me via zoom and made sure I could get my proper prerequisites at Canton so I could achieve my doctorate in Physical Therapy later. 
What do you like most about your sports team/coach at SUNY Canton: The positive culture and genuine care for one another. Coach goes above and beyond to make us the best basketball players and people we can be.
