2024-25 Season

• Started 26 of the 27 games for the Roos as a freshman and was third on the team in minutes per game at 26.7
• Third on the team with both 11.3 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game
• Fourth in the SUNYAC with 34 blocked shots (1.1 BPG)
• Shot 41% from the field and 26% from the three-point line (12-for-46)
• Scored at least 20 points in three games and was in double figures in 16 of the 27 games
• Career-high in points came in an overtime win over Clarkson with 24 (11/12/24)
• Had one double-double against New Paltz (1/14/25) with 17 points and 10 rebounds
• Blocked a career-high four shots against Fredonia (1/24/25)
• Member of the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team 
• SUNY Canton Athletics Female Rookie of the Year
• Named to the SUNYAC Academic Honor Roll 
• College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Honors

High School/Previous Team 

• Kat attended Cicero-North Syracuse High School and played varsity basketball for four years and varsity tennis for two years. 
• She achieved First Team All-Section for two years in a row, First Team All-Tournament two years in a row, CNS Athlete of the Week, and was selected to be highlighted for “Friday Night Fever”
• Named Eighth Team All-State, and was in the running for CNY MVP for girls basketball. Her team also earned sectional and regional champions in 2022. They were sectional finals qualifiers two years in a row. 
• Kathleen played for Syracuse Nets, Sisterskeepers NYC, and I-90 Elite. She was selected Player of the game four times for Sisterskeepers NYC.

Who is Your Personal Hero/Idol and Why? My personal hero is my mom, she is a prime example of strength and perseverance as a cancer survivor and single mom

Why Did You Chose SUNY Canton: The coach and excellent team culture drew me to Canton. They have what I need to later achieve my doctorate. I can proudly say that I have a great academic and athletic support system. 
What Do You Like Most About SUNY Canton: The supportive team and realistic settings for PTA and Nursing majors. They also have a nice dining hall and suites.
Who is Your Favorite SUNY Canton Professor and Why? My favorite Professor is Dr. Molnar because she contacted me via zoom and made sure I could get my proper prerequisites at Canton so I could achieve my doctorate in Physical Therapy later. 
What do you like most about your sports team/coach at SUNY Canton: The positive culture and genuine care for one another. Coach goes above and beyond to make us the best basketball players and people we can be.
