HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Mustangs jumped out to an 8-1 lead in the opening set after one of Isabelle Eskierka's match-high 19 kills. Morrisville cruised to a 25-11 opening set victory.
- The Roos opened a 10-6 lead in the second stanza after a Cruz kill and pair of service aces from Lauren Norman. The visitors used a 6-0 run to open a 15-13 lead, but Canton battled back to knot things at 17 apiece after an ace from Coulter. Canton dominated the end of the set rattling off the final eight points on the service game of Abby Raven to claim a 25-18 second set victory.
- Morrisville led 8-2 and 16-8 in the third set on their way to a 25-16 victory.
- After an early Canton lead, the Mustangs ran off eight straight points to take a 9-3 lead in the fourth frame. The Roos got within 13-11 before Morrisville scored eight of nine points to take a 21-12 lead en route to the 25-18 win to secure the match.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Coulter and Cruz led the Roos with six kills and two aces each with Coulter adding eight digs and Cruz hitting .385 (6-1-13). McKenna Pelech hit a team-best .400 on nine swings (4-0-9). Brooke Hite chipped in four kills, while Nadia Frigon and Norman dished out 15 and nine assists, respectively, along with three digs each.
- Eskierka paced the visitors with 19 kills and seven block assists, while Samantha Siedlecki added eight kills and eight block assists. Cassandra Bellmore and Keely Shearer dished out 15 assists apiece.
- Morrisville hit .157 on 108 swings (43-26-108), while Canton hit -.027 (26-29-112).

The Roos close out SUNYAC play on Tuesday when they visit Oswego State at 6 p.m.
