Natalie Bartle all scored in double figures as the Roos outscored visiting Oneonta 18-4 in the third quarter of a 68-55 win. The victory is the women's basketball team's first ever State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oneonta jumped out to an early 7-0 lead just over two minutes in following an Emma Schwarzbeck three-pointer. The Roos used a 10-6 run to get within 13-10 at the first media timeout with 3:17 left in the first quarter. The Red Dragons held a slim 18-17 lead after the opening quarter.
- The visitors extended their lead to eight at 25-17 three minutes into the second stanza. Canton responded with a 5-0 run and Oneonta took a 35-29 lead into intermission. Oneonta shot nearly 56% from the field in the opening half compared to 37% for the Roos. Bartle paced Canton with 10 first-half points, while Megan Desrats had eight for Oneonta.
- Canton used a 12-4 run the first six minutes out of halftime to take their first lead of the game at 41-39 following a Marijke Kroon offensive rebound and putback. The Roos dominated the Red Dragons outscoring them 18-4 in the third quarter taking a 47-39 after 30 minutes.
- The Roos extended their lead to as many as 14 (56-42) after an Aniceto three-pointer midway through the fourth frame. Oneonta would never get closer than nine the rest of the way in the convincing win for Canton.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- McRobbie-Taru led all players with 17 points and three blocks shooting 7-for-12 from the field, while Aniceto tallied 15 points hitting four of her six three-point attempts. Bartle recorded 14 points and game-highs of five assists and five steals.
- Torie Moore chipped in with eight points and six rebounds, Sierra Pabo added six points, four rebounds, three assists and two blocks and Kroon finished with four points, seven boards and a pair of steals.
- Amanda Zuntag paced Oneonta with 11 points, while Desrats added nine.
- The Roos held Oneonta to 25% shooting (8-for-32) in the second half, while hitting on 45% (14-for-31) of their field goals. Â
- Canton had advantages in points off turnovers (13-6), fast break points (13-8) and points in the paint (32-28), while Oneonta had the upper hand in rebounds (43-32) and bench points (22-8).
