HOW IT HAPPENED

- Sophomore Cory Liu's hard work on the forecheck led to the Roos second goal. Liu created a turnover along the boards in the Panther end and skated to the front of the net, collected a pass from senior Brendan Morrow and slipped the puck under the pads of Heinze and into the net to put the Roos up 2-0. The goal was scored at 16:28 of the second period.
- The Panthers finally solved Hooper at 2:35 of the third period when Revy Mack collected a loose puck in the slot and snapped a shot over Hooper's glove. It was a power play goal and Bobby May earned the assist.
- Middlebury tied the game at two just four minutes later when Andrew Seaman broke free along the right side and wristed a shot over Hooper's left shoulder.
- The Panthers took their first lead of the night when Jack Silverman tipped a shot in front of the net past Hooper at 14:05 to give Middlebury the 3-2 lead.
