HOW IT HAPPENED
- Early in the game, after some back and forth, senior Kevin Goode Jr. made a nice layup off an assist from senior Eli Larson to even the game at 10-10, at 14:52 of the first half.
- Morrisville pulled ahead on 23-12 run late in the first before Streb and senior Jevonte Williams each drained a pair of free throws cutting the Mustang lead to seven with 2:09 remaining in half. A layup by Morrisville's Kareem Sanders in the final minute of the first half put his team up 40-29 at the intermission.
- Freshman Nate Cohen led the Roos halfway reaching double digits with 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist. Williams and Goode Jr. both had 5 points thus far to chip in for the Roos.
- Williams and Streb came out firing early in the second half for Canton with both draining threes and cutting the lead down to seven (44-37).
- Long range shooting kept the Roos in the game with sophomore Malaki Smith hitting a trey off a Streb pass with 11:52 left in regulation (57-48).
- Streb finished the old-fashioned three-point play with a layup and free throw off of a foul with less than two minutes remaining, but it was not enough to overcome the Mustangs big second half and the Roos dropped the game 89-68.
