Canton, NY – Eli Larson led three Roos in double figures with his fourth double-double of the season, but visiting SUNY Poly hit a game-winning three-pointer with two seconds left to earn a 78-76 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SUNY Poly jumped out to an early 15-4 lead just four minutes in.
- The Wildcats extended their advantage to as many as 16 (38-22) as they took a 42-30 lead into intermission.
- Larson led the Roos with 10 first-half points, while Cheickne Toure and Anthony Rose had 15 and 12 points, respectively, for SUNY Poly.
- The Wildcats still led by double digits at 57-47 with 10:32 to play, but Canton chipped away at the deficit cutting the Poly lead to one with 5:45 to play following a 14-5 run.
- Canton took its first lead of the game at 74-73 after a Larson layup with just 55 seconds to go. Poly responded with a pair of free throws to regain a one point advantage with 37 seconds to go.
- Bryon Streb scored a bucket inside giving Canton a 76-75 advantage with 27 ticks left, but Rose hit a three-pointer with two seconds left and a last second shot by the Roos to tie it at the buzzer was just off the mark.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Larson paced Canton with a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Williams posted 17 points. Kevin Goode Jr. was the only other Roo in double figures with 10 points, while Moe Biao and Streb added nine and seven points, respectively.
- Toure paced the visitors with 26 points, while Rose added 25 points. Josh Ernst recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
- Poly shot 48% from the field and 53% from three-point range, while holding Canton to marks of 37% and 17%, respectively.
- The Roos had the edge in bench points (19-6) and points off turnovers (16-9), while Wildcats had the advantage in rebounds (40-30).
