Canton, NY – Four different goal scorers gave the SUNY Canton men's hockey team a 4-2 win over Framingham State University on Saturday afternoon. Senior
Brendan Morrow scored a goal and added an assist and junior
Scott Cremen chipped in two assists on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior Reilly McKinnon opened the scoring for the Roos, ripping a shot from the far left circle past Ram goaltender Owen Swanbon. The goal was assisted by junior Michael Palandra and senior Brendan Morrow.
- Morrow put the Roos ahead 2-0 tipping a Colton Sipperley shot into the net at 13:07 of the first period. The goal was the fourth power play goal of the season for Canton with Cremen earning the secondary assist.
- Scott Bugarin got the Rams on the board at 15:47 of the period, burying a rebound off Roos netminder Nate Hopkins into the goal. Bugarin's goal was assisted by Robert Bernier and Nathan Gines.
- Jake Barcelou knotted the game at 2-2, picking up a loose puck out of a scrum an burying a puck past junior Nate Hopkins.
- Junior Jordyn Mughal scored the game-winner, taking a pass from his brother Trystan Mughal at 5:18 of the third and banging home his first career tally. Freshman Hayden Bullock earned the secondary assist.
- Freshman Nolan Zotter added an empty net goal at 18:05 of the third with assists going to freshman Brayden Fryfogle and Cremen.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Shots were nearly even with Framingham holding a 34-33 edge. Zotter led the Roos with five shots on goal.
- Canton was 1/4 on the power play while the Rams were 0/4.
- The Roos were dominant at the faceoff dot winning 44 draws to Framingham's 26. Morrow had 14 wins to lead the team.
- Hopkins made 32 saves, earning his second win of the season. Swan stopped 29 shots for the Rams.
