Paul Smith's, NY – The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team used a balanced attack to earn a 3-0 sweep (25-23, 25-14, 25-11) in a non-conference match at Paul Smith's on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The opening set was a tight battle as the Roos prevailed 25-23.
• Canton controlled the second set handily cruising to a 25-14 victory.
• The Roos continued their momentum from the second stanza into the third frame completing the sweep 25-11.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Bria Hunter led the offense with 10 kills hitting .500 (10-2-16) and added six digs and two aces.
• Brooke Hite and Alexas Marshall supplied six kills apiece, while Sarah Balcom added four kills, four digs and two blocks as she eclipsed the 400 career kill mark.
• Sammie Frank stuffed the stat sheet with 28 assists, eight digs, five kills and two blocks. Kayann Gunn added three kills and Kiley Zicari finished with five digs.
• The Roos recorded a .397 hitting % on 63 attack attempts (35-10-63).
