HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a back-and-forth affair early on the Lions held their largest lead of the game midway through the opening half (20-12) after a Joey Hanlon three-pointer.
- Canton quickly responded with a 9-0 run as they led 21-20 after a Brennan Harmer jumper with 7:07 to play.
- The Lions scored off an offensive rebound as time expired to take a 34-33 lead into intermission.
- Jevonte Williams and Goode Jr. led the Roos with eight points apiece. Darrell Hardge paced the Lions with 12.
- Neither team led by more than three in the opening 10 minutes of the second half. The Roos opened a nine point advantage at 63-54, their largest of the game, with 4:47 remaining in the game after a Goode Jr. layup.
- Unfortunately, ENC would hold Canton scoreless the final 4 minutes, 46 seconds of the game as they went on a 16-0 run to close the game and seal the conference win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Goode Jr. led Canton with 17 points on 6-for-10 shooting, while Eli Larson posted his third double-double of the season and second straight with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Jevonte Williams added 12 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals, while Bryon Streb and Moe Biao added nine points apiece.
- Hardge led all players with 24 points for ENC, while Khabri Davis and Elijah Bishop added 11 each.
- Both teams were fairly even statistically with Eastern Nazarene holding a 24-13 edge in bench points and Canton having the upper hand in points in the paint, 30-22.
