Reilly McKinnon each scored a goal and added an assist for the SUNY Canton men's hockey team in their 4-1 win over Fredonia on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Conor O'Brien scored the only goal of the opening period, taking a beautiful cross ice pass from Nic Herringer and beating Blue Devil's goaltender Logan Dyck top-shelf. The goal was scored at 10:53 with McKinnon earning the secondary assist.
- The Blue Devils tied the game midway through the third when Johnny Malandruccolo finally solved freshman netminder Trey Miller, making the score 1-1.
- McKinnon scored the game winner at 15:17 of the third, snapping a wrister from the left face off dot over Dyck's glove. The goal was assisted by freshman Jordan Prepszl.
- Herringer and Jackson Drysdale each scored empty net goals to close out the game giving the Roos a 4-1 victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Herringer's goal was his fifth of the season, his assist was his sixth, giving him 11 points for the year.
- The Roos blocked 12 shots and were led by McKinnon and sophomore Jack Seamans who each finished with two.
- Canton and Fredonia were both 0/1 on the power play.
- Fredonia had an edge at the faceoff dot 34-28.
- Miller finished with 26 saves for the Roos, Dyck made 38 for the Blue Devils.
