Thirty-Two Student-Athletes Named to NAC Winter/Spring 2022-23 All-Academic Team

Waterville, ME – Thirty-two SUNY Canton student-athletes have been named to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Winter/Spring 2022-23 All-Academic Team.

In order to be eligible for All-Academic honors, student-athletes must be participating members of their respective teams and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Member institutions are responsible for identifying eligible student athletes.

All-Academic Team honors are bestowed twice a year, at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters. The student-athletes on the Winter/Spring All-Academic Team represent the conference's 11 winter and spring sports: men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming & diving, men's tennis, men's and women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, and men's and women's outdoor track & field.

The Roos women's and men's basketball teams led the way with seven student-athletes each being recognized, while the baseball and men's lacrosse teams had six members honored. Women's lacrosse (5) and softball (2) rounded out those earning recognition. Below is a full list of student-athletes who were honored. Samantha Dayter was named to the All-Academic Team as a member of both the women's basketball and lacrosse teams.
