Hayden Todd made 15 saves to lead the SUNY Canton men's lacrosse team to a 15-5 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win against SUNY Cobleskill on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Logan McCargar got the Roos out to a fast start scoring just 14 seconds into the game.
- Cobleskill took a brief lead behind back-to-back tallies from Sean D'Amaro. The Roos regrouped with a pair of goals from Alec Gorman and Caeden Goodnough to take a 3-2 lead after the opening quarter.
- The Roos dominated play in the second quarter outscoring the Tigers 4-0 behind goals from Charles Grandaw, Jake Erskine, Jacobs and Tanner Amell. Todd made eight first half saves as Canton led 7-2 at intermission.
- The hosts extended their lead to 9-2 in the opening five minutes of the second half with goals from Gorman and Jacobs.
- Cobleskill netted three straight goals to get within 9-5 with 6:37 left in the third quarter, but Canton outscored them 6-0 the remainder of the way holding the Tigers scoreless the final 21:36 of clock time.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Jacobs led all players in points (5), goals (3) and assists (2), while Gorman added three goals and assist. Amell registered three scores, Goodnough had two goals and two assists, and Grandaw finished with a goal and two assists.
- Devin Guerriero went 13-for-23 on face offs with a game-high seven ground balls, while Goodnough picked up six ground balls. Carter Moore caused a game-high four turnovers to go with three ground balls.
- Kerry Blackwood paced Cobleskill with two goals and four ground balls.
- Todd made 15 saves posting a .750 save % over the first 53 minutes of action. Sam Servati made two saves without allowing a single goal in the final seven minutes.
- John Williams turned aside 17 shots in defeat for the Tigers.
- The Roos had the upper hand in shots on goal (32-22), ground balls (47-31) and face offs (13-10). Canton was 18-for-19 on clears, while Cobleskill was 21-for-28.
